Your right to cancel the contract between us

When purchasing goods from Uberpet you are entering into a sales contract. However, since all of our goods are perishable, we cannot accept cancellation of contracts after despatch unless the goods we supply arrive damaged or faulty.

(i) If you change your mind or decide for any other reason that you do not want to receive the goods, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the contract and receive a refund but this must be done before the goods are despatched. This will depend upon your choice of delivery but you should contact us as soon as possible after receiving your sales notification email. Advice about your legal right to cancel the contract is available from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Please note that if you purchase from our shop you can only return the goods if they are faulty.

(ii) If the goods you receive are damaged or faulty you need to let us know as soon as you receive them and arrange to return them.

(iii) Upon receipt of the goods we will

(a) refund the price you paid for the Goods. However, please note we are permitted by law to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the Goods, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop (such as by opening any sealed food containers). If we refund the price paid before we are able to inspect the Goods and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount.

(b) refund any delivery costs you have paid.

(c) make any refunds due to you as soon as possible and in any event within the following deadlines:

(1) if you have received the Goods: 14 days after the day on which we receive the Goods back from you or, if earlier, the day on which you provide us with evidence that you have sent the Goods back to us; or

(2) if you have not received the Goods: 14 days after you inform us.

(iv) We will make any refund to the credit card or debit card account used by you to pay.

(v) Because you are a consumer, we are under a legal duty to supply Goods that are in conformity with this Contract. As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Goods that are faulty or not as described. These legal rights are not affected by your right of return and refund in this clause 5 or anything else in these Terms & Conditions. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
